AWGPN Wishes You a Very Merry Christmas and a Safe New Year
The AWGPN Committee of Management and staff would like to wish all our GP members and their practice staff, other organisations and members of the community, a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. We look foward to building  a stronger and more integrated Primary Care Network in 2009. Please note AWGPN will be closed from 12 noon Wednesday 24th December 2008 and will reopen at 9am Monday 5th January 2009.


AWGPN Mental Health Update
With the Mental Health Shared Care and ATAPS programs now in full implementation, we are pleased to introduce the program title of 'Western Wellbeing'. We believe this title better encompasses the broad nature of the mental health programs and intended outcomes for patients. For all mental health enquiries, please contact the AWGPN Branch office on 8243 0480 and speak to our new Mental Health GP Shared Care Coordinators, Bec Talbot-Male or Mark Voce.

AWGPN Welcomes Associate Members
The AWGPN would like to extend an invitation to other health professionals to become Associate Members of the Adelaide Western General Practice Network. The AWGPN Board believes that Associate Membership will better facilitate interaction between GP members and other GP practice team members and primary care providers in the Western region of Adelaide. It will also foster innovation and integration in Primary Health Care Services resulting in improved population health outcomes.
