Membership of the Adelaide Western General Practice Network is open to general pracititioners and as at January 2008, other health professionals (Associate Members) who practice within the AWGPN region with the area bound by LeFevre Peninsula, North Arm Creek, Magazine Road, Churchill Road, Grand Junction Road, Prospect Road, Fitzroy Terrace, Park Terrace, Port Road, West Terrace, Anzac Highway and the coast from Anzac Highway to LeFevre Peninsula.

In addition to the services the AWGPN can offer your business, it also offers an opportunity for you to network with your peers. Join the Aged Care Network if you have a passion to improve the services in Aged Care Facilities or attend our annual AGM with other GPs and discuss where the future lies for General Practice.

As of January 2008 the AWGPN would like to extend an invitation to other health professionals to become Associate Members of the Adelaide Western General Practice Network. The AWGPN Board believes that Associate Membership will better facilitate interaction between GP members and other GP practice team members and primary care providers in the Western region of Adelaide. It will also foster innovation and integration in Primary Health Care Services resulting in improved population health outcomes. Membership is FREE with many benefits below. Associate Member Categories
- GP Registrar/Trainee
- GP Practice Manager
- Practice Staff
- GP Practice Nurse
- Allied Health Practitioner
- Mental Health Practitioner
- Other Primary Health Care Practitioner
- Pharmacist
- Other persons/organisations
- Announcements/Recent News (via email)
- Newsletters (via website)
- Receive 40% DISCOUNT when advertising through the AWGPN newsletter and website
- Attend relevant CPD events (by invitation)
- Attend AGM dinner (by invitation)
- Partake in relevant AWGPN programs, activities, committees, networks at discretion of AWGPN management (by invitation)
- Needs to support AWGPN objectives (see our Constitution)
- Must be nominated by one GP member and seconded by another GP member of the AWGPN
- Works in a general practice located in the AWGPN region: OR
- Works as a Pharmacist / Allied Health / Mental Health / Primary Health Care Practitioner in the AWGPN region; OR
- Any other person or organisation approved by the AWGPN Board who wishes to support the AWGPN objectives
- NB. No voting rights as per GP members
Currently free but may be required to pay an annual subscription fee (Board discretion)
